Train of Thought is a series of works on paper, created over a period of three months in a temporary studio space in the city. Belinda used the journey between home and studio as an opportunity to gather reference material for her work.

"It provided me with the opportunity to observe people in a public transport setting. There is something intriguing to me about the uncertainty and almost awkwardness that occurs when we use a service that is outside of our immediate control. There has to be a certain amount of surrender, of humility. At the same time these environments inadvertently give us the opportunity to pause and reflect, whether we like it or not."
