  • 26th Wallace Art Awards
    My work 'Once More With Feeling' forms part of the Wallace Art Awards Travelling Finalist Exhibition. The exhibition runs from September 5th until November 12th at the TSB Wallace Art Centre, before moving on to various parts of the North Island.

  • Molly Morpeth Canaday Art Award Finalist
    My work 'Familiar Territory' has been selected by judge, Richard Fahey, to be included in the 2016 Molly Morpeth Canaday Art Awards exhibition. The exhibition is held at Te koputu a te whanga a Toi Whakatane Library and Exhibition Centre, and runs until mid March.

    Two of my works from my Train of Thought exhibition have been purchased by the Wallace Arts Trust for their collection.

  • NZ Paint and Printmaking Award Finalist
    My artwork 'Within and Without' has been selected by judge Dr Zara Stanhope to be included in the 2016 NZ Paint and Printmaking Awards exhibition, held as part of the Hamilton Gardens Arts Festival during February.

    My article '' Moments of emotional honesty" appears in the Autumn 2015 issue of Artnews Magazine - pg104 -107. It is a dispatch piece which talks about my work and about my artist residency in Winnipeg Canada. Read it here

    I feel very honoured to have been awarded the Estuary Artworks Award for 2013 by Judge Rob Garrett. (you can read Rob's comments here) Thanks also to Uxbridge Centre and to Estuary Artworks.

  • Wine Label Award | July 2011
    My artwork Breathe has won the Winesale.co.nz Wine Label Award!
    My art will feature on the label of two wines, a Martinborough Pinot Noir and a Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. Five thousand bottles of each varietal will be produced.

    I was immensly honoured to be awarded the Major Award at the Molly Morpeth-Canaday Art Awards for my artwork Amongst Strangers An excerpt from the comments made by Judge Henry Symonds - Dean of Instruction and Undergraduate Studies at Whitecliffe:
    "The work is a model of expressive force achieved with a confident handling of medium and pared down colour range."
